Sunset Zoo strives to partner with local and regional community organizations; past partnerships have included Mercy Health Center’s Wild Run and the National MS Society’s Walk. Approval of events are at the discretion of the Zoo Director and the focus of the fundraising may not be in competition with Sunset Zoo’s fundraising priorities.
Rental Fee $400 per event. Rates available for community partners registered as 501c3 non-profits.
Rental Fee Includes:
Up to 6 hours of event time, any additional time must be approved by Zoo staff
Use of main Zoo (Australia, Prairie Dog loop, South America) and pavilion
Animal exhibits and respective buildings only open during normal operating hours
Non-profit agrees to include Sunset Zoo as an event sponsor in all event promotional materials, approval of each use must be submitted to Zoo staff before distribution
No alcohol during event
Includes admission for up to 200 guests (volunteers and event participants included)
