Trick-or-Treat Among the Animals

Saturday, October 28 & Sunday, October 29 | Noon to 4:30pm Each Day

Trick-or-treat among the animals by visiting five candy trails sponsored by local businesses and non-profit organizations. Family-friendly activities throughout the Zoo, a costume contest, live animal encounters and a pumpkin palooza inside the Nature Exploration Center await each SPOOKtacular guest!

Special Admission Rates

  • $5 per trick-or-treating child (children of any age receiving candy)
    Two adults admitted free with each paid child's admission.
  • Children 2 and under that are NOT trick-or-treating admitted free
  • FOSZ members receive $1 off each child's admission
  • Regular admission of $5 per adult applies to any additional adults and non trick-or-treating guests. FOSZ adult members are free.

Costumes + Candy Bags 

Wear your costumes - adults and kids! Have fun and be creative, just remember you're walking through the Zoo. You can even win prizes for top costume during the SPOOKtacular Costume Contest each day! And be sure to bring your candy bags to collect your candy loot.

Parking

Parking is available in the Zoo's main lot and the grass fields that surround the Zoo's entry. Community members can also park in Manhattan High School's lot, located at the corner of Oak and Westwood. Closer to the event, we'll post a parking map to help you in your efforts. It's a busy weekend, so please drive slowly and carefully.

Food Vendors


As you're enjoying your SPOOKtacular adventures, hunger is a definite reality! The Zoo's Expedition Cafe will be serving up tasty treats both days from Noon to 4:30pm! There will also be food from Los Toritos available for purchase!

We welcome 6,000+ guests over the SPOOKtacular weekend. Purchase your tickets in advance to speed through the ticket line! Tickets are available here: Purchase Tickets Online
 
SPOOKtacular is held rain or shine. No ticket refunds due to weather. NOTE: FOSZ members must purchase tickets in person to receive $1 off youth ticket discount.
