Your guests will enjoy a private indoor event venue located at the Zoo's entryway, the Nature Exploration Center. This beautiful facility opened in 2012 and offers 4,000 square feet of event space. During the winter months, the facility also boasts festive holiday decor, complete with a lighted tree. No matter the size of your holiday celebration, a cozy gathering for 30 or a large-scale reception for 250, Sunset Zoo has the perfect venue.

• Outdoor Plaza • up to 182 people, available after 5pm

Prices & Deposits

Rooms within the Nature Exploration rent from $70 to $230 per hour. Additional fees may include an alcohol fee and refundable damage deposit.

Catering

Event rental guests are invited to use any caterer they wish as long as they provide an up-to-date copy of their caterer's license. Additionally, alcohol is permitted at rental events so long as it is in accordance with the Zoo's facility use guidelines, and all city, state and federal laws.
